Nano 60

The perfect middle ground between high visibility and effective solar protection. Woven in the USA by Twitchell, Nano 60 is a versatile solar screening fabric designed for homeowners and builders who want noticeable heat and glare reduction without making room interiors feel dark or enclosed.

Crafted from heavy-duty vinyl-coated polyester yarns in a balanced 17 x 20 weave density, Nano 60 blocks approximately 60% of solar radiation. It hits the sweet spot when 50% solar screen feels too open, but 80% or 90% fabrics feel too dense—delivering comfortable shade, gentle glare control, and reliable insect protection while keeping outdoor breezes flowing freely.

Twitchell backs Nano 60 with a 15-year limited warranty for both fixed frames and operable shading systems, ensuring lasting performance across seasons.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I choose Nano 60 over Nano 50?

Choose Nano 60 if your windows or porch receive moderate direct sunlight where a 50% screen allows too much glare, but you still want better airflow and outward visibility than heavy 80% or 90% solar screens provide.

Can Nano 60 be used in motorized retractable screens?

Yes. Nano 60 is specifically engineered and warrantied for both stationary screen frames and operable/motorized roller systems.
